Hello and welcome to my stress advice website! I am here to help you get back on track with solid stress advice, top tips and ways to manage your stress.  With thousands of hours experience working as a Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist (see About Me), I am also a Manager for a Welfare and Counselling team in a large Police Service in the UK.

Many life events impact on how you think, feel and behave and your 'normal' coping structure can fail if you are overwhelmed.

Events such as house moves, job/career changes, additions to the family, relationship problems and loss/bereavement can really affect how you face each day.

Sometimes things can get tough... a sense of isolation may set in and a general lack of control over things which have always been easy to manage, could become apparent.  Your ability to cope is outweighed by the demands in your life.

This site and the articles written within it are very much gleened from my experience as a mental health professional and I hope that you will find it helpful.
